Common questions
Does Scensor upload screenshots?
The desktop build is designed to process screenshots locally in memory rather than upload or save them during its normal workflow.
Does it need an API key?
No. The current desktop design uses local OCR and a local classifier.
Can the AI make mistakes?
Yes. OCR and classification can both be wrong. Warnings should support—not replace—human judgment.
Are profiles separate?
Profiles are intended to keep their own local settings, reports, and history. The secured build also requires each account’s login name and password.
Why can macOS block the launcher?
The launcher is not yet Apple-notarized. Only approve a copy downloaded from the official Scensor site.

Screen images are intended for local OCR and are not part of website feedback submissions.
Feedback
The website opens the user’s email app. It does not store submitted feedback on Cloudflare Pages.
Payments
PayPal handles donation details. Scensor does not receive card information.
AI limitation
Scensor is a screen-safety application, but AI results can be incorrect and should not be treated as a guarantee of safety.
